The foundation’s digital application system opens on June 1, 2025, and remains open until September 30, 2025. The foundation’s trustees make decisions concerning grants after a meeting of the advisory board in October 2025.
The foundation’s primary objective is to promote teaching, education, and research within the field of linguistics. As the foundation’s resources were initially donated to encourage the use of the international universal language Ido, should, if appropriate, such teaching, education, and research be promoted that deals with the universal language or other means to overcome barriers between people and nations?
The foundation has decided not to provide funding for individual education at a level comparable to Swedish secondary schools or basic levels at Swedish universities. Basic levels imply education lower than preparation for licentiate and doctorate examinations. The foundation will not grant means for travel and printing expenses. The foundation will not notify those whose applications have been rejected.
