The foundation’s digital application system opens on June 1, 2024, and remains open until September 30, 2024. Decisions concerning grants are made by the foundation’s trustees after a meeting of the advisory board in October 2024.
The foundation’s main objective is to promote teaching, education, and research within the linguistic field. As the foundation’s resources were originally donated to promote the international universal language Ido, should, if appropriate, such teaching, education, and research be promoted that deals with universal language or other means to overcome barriers between people and nations?
The foundation has decided not to grant means for individual education for a level comparable to Swedish secondary schools or basic levels at Swedish universities. Basic levels imply education lower than preparation for licentiate and doctorate examinations. The foundation will not grant means for travel and printing expenses. The foundation will not notify those whose applications have been rejected.
